When I was working in #DenaliNationalPark I couldn't always see the Mountain (only %33 of visitors see it) because it is usually shrouded in clouds, but its presence was always felt. Denali is, after all, translated to "The Great One" or "The High One." And like most big peaks in the world it seems bigger than life, a kind of transcendent thing, beyond time. Denali is without a doubt one of our great American Cathedrals, and the crown jewel of the Park.
